"POTS AND PRINTS" COLLECTION
Welcome! Thanks for viewing my newest collection of hand-signed prints and one-of-a-kind functional pottery. Whether you are treating yourself or purchasing a piece to "share the love", I hope these works help to brighten your day!
Prints: Fine art prints are a fantastic way to start or add to your art collection at an affordable price. To ensure quality and an extreme “likeness” to my original painting, I begin the process with a high resolution, flatbed scan of my painting. I then print the image using archival, dye-based ink and thick, subtly textured matte paper, which are both formulated to enhance detail and durability. Each print is hand-signed and shipped flat, and can easily be housed in a frame of your choice.
Pottery: I’ve created each piece entirely within my home studio on my pottery wheel, using materials from two Minneapolis-based clay companies. Much like my paintings, my pottery is inspired by the natural world around me and aims to capture the beauty of our local flora and fauna. My glazing colors and patterns are carefully hand drawn on each piece over several layers. While this process is more time-intensive than using ceramic decals, it ensures that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. Each piece is thoughtfully decorated on all sides. For specific information about size and capacity, please read the text associated with each work. All clays, slips, stains, and glazes are food and beverage safe. Pieces can withstand both the microwave and dishwasher, although it's always a good idea to avoid quickly moving ceramics from very hot to very cold environments, and vice versa.
Shipping: It’s a drag, I know. If it’s an option for you, please select the “Studio Pickup” option at checkout to forego shipping charges. I am happy to arrange a time with you to visit my studio in Prior Lake, Minnesota. (Contactless/ ”porch” pickup also available. Chicken petting 100% optional but encouraged.) I aim to ship as soon as possible after purchase and will send you an order confirmation email with USPS tracking number once it is headed your way. I make an effort to recycle packing and shipping material whenever possible to keep waste to a minimum. If you would like new materials used, or if your order contains a gift, please let me know!
International Orders: If you reside outside of the US, you may either contact Christina to put a piece on-hold until she can provide an accurate shipping quote, or you may purchase the piece using the "Studio Pickup" option and she will send you a separate invoice to cover the international shipping total.
