This piece is inspired by my recent summer travels. While driving across the US and Canada, I was absolutely taken by the countless barns, many in stages of disrepair, that speckled the New England and Canadian landscape. In this painting, I bring attention to the dilapidated, precarious state of these old structures. The sky features a vintage celestial map.
Inspiration: Road Trip through upstate NY
