Each morning on my way to work, I pass a barn that you can see through. I love how the familiar structure frames the surrounding landscape in different ways, depending on the angle of the viewer. This painting is a tribute to finding beauty in the plain and ordinary.
Inspiration: Scott County Barn, Scott County, MN
