In this series of 18 original paintings, Christina continues to explore the connections between place, time, and memory through her unique mixed-media approach. The collection Looking Forward celebrates both the dynamic and quiet, contemplative beauty of the New England landscape. Many pieces include both celestial charts and place-specific maps of coastal New Hampshire and Maine, nestled carefully between multiple layers of paint. Within these works, Christina focused on fine detail and expanding her existing color palette.
